Another one that comes under the heading of ‘I expected this to be…’ I have found a couple of these on the outside of the office block at work, and I thought they were lime-speck pug moths. But no, this is apparently the cypress pug moth Eupithecia phoeniceata. Strange, because on Tue 21/06/16, I recorded another moth with a similar name, the cypress carpet Thera cupressata
