We went for a walk at Jeskyns today; we don’t go there so often now they have started charging for the car park. However, I did track down two wasp spiders, which was great, as I haven’t seen one for a couple of years. They aren’t half handsome beasts.

I also got a pretty disappointing rear three-quarters shot of a spectacular four-spot orb weaver - not the best shot I've ever taken - but some more stonking shots of meadow brown butterflies.
