Here we have the common garden carpet moth:

There are a number of similar moths with the appellation carpet, but they are not particularly predatory upon carpets. While we’re at it, here is a better picture of a Metellina segmentata. This one was lurking around the outside of the warehouse, which is a fairly unusual place for it; they are reasonably common in the bushes outside the grounds, but not all that urban.
