Here are a few items of lepidoptera I found in Church Walk on the way home from work. We have a speckled wood butterfly to start with, a little moth called a nettle tap I found on a nettle, strangely enough – and a nice little micromoth, chocolate brown with a large gold spot. This one doesn’t seem to have a common English name I’m afraid, so we have to refer to it as Pammene regiana.
